Which method we use depends on what has to be recorded. For the dimensions of buildings, facades and sites we work with a total station, with a handheld laser for measurements it cannot reach. In complex situations we bring in a 3D scanner, so the whole space is captured in one pass and nothing is missing afterwards. If you also want to view the scanned space remotely, we publish the scan in NavVis IVION: you walk through the existing situation from your desk and take your own measurements.
